BAGGAGE interview with me & Rob Dimension at WGON Helicopter

"The film unveils itself like a puzzle, falling into place as the story reveals more and more. Rob Dimension is great as the mousy, tentative office worker who is a magnet for jeers and pitying glances. Pulling double-duty as the screenwriter, Dimension's script melds perfectly with Kipp's direction, and Kipp is no stranger to bringing visceral and emotional images to the screen..." - from review of BAGGAGE with interviews of me and Rob at WGON Helicopter

Interview at You've Got Red On You

"Above all else, enjoy the journey. There are days when this profession can grind your body and soul into paste; only total commitment and passion can see you through those dark hours and persevere, because it’s all worth it when you can create work that you can stand behind and share it with an audience. It’s a selfless act, ultimately, because the movie no longer belongs to you; it belongs to them." - from a passionate interview I gave to You've Got Red On You

Apocalypse Later reviews CRESTFALLEN

"I knew Kipp as a writer, from insightful interviews he did for Shock Cinema with people like Ron Perlman, but he has a substantial body of work behind him to discover. I took a trip through his short films and discovered that 'trip' was a particularly good choice of word to use. He doesn't tend to give us stories, he asks us to find them within visuals that are often both nightmarish and beautiful at the same time. From the performance art of Drool to the 'cinematic prayer' that is The Days God Slept to the playful music video, Fate, he's both sacred and profane."

Interview with Search My Trash about THE MINIONS

"It’s a dark urban fable about a man’s walk home one autumn night, and he decides to walk down The Witch’s Path. He almost makes it past safely, but then two drunken girls appear…and they’re the minions. What happens next is not very nice…"

Horror Cult Films reviews CRESTFALLEN

Many thanks to Horror Cult Films for their review.

"Jeremiah Kipp delivers another visually stunning feature with this sombre short film...the lighting (by Dominick Sivilli) and the haunting, beautiful soundtrack (by Harry Manfredini) is expertly handled as it switches back and forth from past to present. Actress Deneen Melody does well in a demanding role that she performs with subtlety and grace. Jeremiah Steel’s career up until now would appear to have consisted of assistant directorial duties but there is more than enough evidence to suggest that he has more than enough style and talent to create something quite extraordinary should he undertake a full length project."

New review of THE DAYS GOD SLEPT

"Talented up-and-coming director Jeremiah Kipp sent us another one of his short flicks. Would someone give this cat a feature film already?  THE DAYS GOD SLEPT is an experimental film filled with beautiful imagery and a wonderful score by Harry Manfredini. That's right, THE same Harry Manfredini who scored FRIDAY THE 13th..."

We Came From The Basement reviews BAGGAGE

"Baggage -- a groovy 14-minute throwback to the tales found on Alfred Hitchcock Presents, only bloodier and a titch more disturbing. Rob Dimension is great as Benjamin, and Jeremiah Kipp once again shows he's an accomplished filmmaker. Baggage is more of a straight-up genre piece than CRESTFALLEN, and plays within the conventions of what we expect. It's expertly made. As with any good Hitchcock tale, nothing is quite as it seems."
