In-Depth review and interview at Daily Grindhosue

From a great review and interview at Daily Grindhouse. " The Days God Slept, a short film embraces a wonderfully dreamlike atmosphere, and treads into latter-day David Lynch territory as reality and time start to get increasingly twisted. Once again we are trapped with characters who seem to have been traumatized (or deadened) by a cold and unfeeling world, but it’s also a reflection on secrets and acceptance, and somehow maintains an echo of hope despite a collection of disturbing images. Once again gorgeously photographed by Dominick Sivilli it also has an intriguingly ethereal script by Joe Fiorillo. A real winner, and proof of Kipp’s flexibility as a director."

Romanian Publication Post-Modern

Romanian publication Post-Modern thoughtfully views THE DAYS GOD SLEPT as a parable of the fall of paradise. "Or was the real intention to provide that mixture of degradation and disobedient love that exists as a psychic defense?"

And on DROOL: "The female main character makes winding movements that express vexation through contemporary dance...hermetically sealed yet fascinating...demonic and surrealist, comparable to Lars von Trier."

Unsung Films reviews THE DAYS GOD SLEPT

"Paranoia and uncertainty are ever present in this philosophical noir tale of betrayal and obsession. Jeremiah Kipp moves the story along with the camera as well as the words. THE DAYS GOD SLEPT, well executed and intelligent, is like the love-child of SIN CITY and ONLY GOD FORGIVES..." - wonderful review at Unsung Films

Interview at Malevolent Magazine

I talk to Malevolent Magazine about THE DAYS GOD SLEPT, BAGGAGE, CRESTFALLEN and other films.  Read all about it here: http://www.joomag.com/en/newsstand/malevolent-magazine-1-march-april-2014-malevolent-magazine-issue-2-may-june-2014/0346472001399361987?ref=ib

"Working with Rob Dimension, who wrote and produced BAGGAGE and played the lead role of Benjamin, was a complete joy. I wish more people would take notice of his performance, which has a raw intensity to it; I suspect it’s difficult for some to watch a male actor be so vulnerable. In genre films, we’ve grown accustomed to the (erroneous) idea of a helpless female. When a film deals with male anxiety, which Rob played so bravely, the audience feels confronted in a different way. When one’s very manhood is under attack, the effect is disconcerting."
